I was sitting in my local pub and watched a lovely young girl knitting. I went over to speak with her and asked about what she was knitting. She was knitting socks. They were beautiful. She said whilst her boyfriend was watching the sport she brings her knitting as she finds it relaxing. My immediate thought how lovely she is also it would be great to create a knitting group. Where we can learn new skills and chat at the same time. We are a throw away society and of course we can buy socks cheaply. I would love to create a safe space where we would encourage people to share their skills and of course support each other too.
